PVP.FARM is a full browser-based 3D MMORPG with a free-look camera, built around large-scale PvP. Persistent faction PvP takes place in a seamless open world with no safe zones: a fight can begin anywhere. There are no mobs, auto-battle, or character levels to grind. Character progression and the in-game economy are tied to PvP, and players can fight as pilots or control combat mechs.
Inspired by the “Robots” text quest from Space Rangers 2, the core combat system is based on three attack types and three corresponding defenses. Combat has no chance-based effects: outcomes are determined by player choices and actions. There is also a separate arena that preserves the text quest’s original setup: selecting ammunition and fighting a fair battle until one player loses their mech, with no equipment or boosts affecting the outcome.
The conflict is faction-based. Factions capture territory and can take control of an entire planet; if the balance shifts too far, the two weaker factions automatically form an alliance. A victory opens a new planet for the losing factions. Factions can also raid other planets: faction leaders and deputies designate rally zones where the whole faction can deploy.
The game is free to play. In-game purchases are available, but there are no paid exclusives that affect PvP. The project is built by a solo developer and continuously improved based on player feedback.
